TAYLOR MARTIN SCAD SENIOR FASHION COLLECTION
In the Spring of 25’, I had the incredible honor of photographing SCAD senior—and my close friend—Taylor Martin’s breathtaking senior collection. Inspired by Dante’s Inferno, Taylor’s work explores the emotional and physical journey of going to hell and back for love. Her collection is a deeply personal and hauntingly beautiful interpretation of sacrifice, longing, and redemption—woven together through otherworldly textures and symbolic craftsmanship.
The garments themselves are a masterclass in detail. Taylor incorporated layers of delicately sewn tulle that seem to float, wrapping the body like ghostly smoke, contrasted by hand-shaped leather bodices molded to resemble human torsos. These pieces feel almost relic-like—fragile and raw, as if pulled from another realm. Every element was intentional, and each stitch told part of the story.
When approaching the shoot, we knew we wanted the visuals to feel just as narrative and surreal as the collection itself. Our goal was to create a hazy, dreamlike atmosphere—something that mirrored the fantasy and emotional depth of the garments. Through soft lighting, diffused tones, and atmospheric haze, we aimed to blur the line between the real and the unreal, making the viewer feel like they’d stepped into a liminal world somewhere between heaven, hell, and love. This shoot was more than just a documentation of a fashion collection—it was a visual poem, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of bringing Taylor’s vision to life.
